PDF files up to 100 MB and 500 pages.
Your PDF is opened, edited and saved inside your browser. The file is never uploaded to our server.
This is a page editor rather than a text editor, and that distinction matters. It changes the structure of a document — the order of its pages, how they are rotated, and which of them still exist — and leaves the content of each page exactly as the author wrote it.
That covers most of what people actually need when they say they want to “edit a PDF”: an invoice with the pages in the wrong order, a scan saved upside down, a contract with a blank page in the middle. Open the file, drag the pages into the order you want, rotate anything that is sideways, drop what you do not need, and download.
How to use this tool
- Drop a PDF onto the drop zone, or choose one from your device. The document opens in the workspace with a thumbnail of every page down the left.
- Click a thumbnail to bring that page into the main view. Use the toolbar to move between pages, zoom, or fit the page to the canvas.
- Drag a thumbnail to a new position to reorder it, or use the small arrows beside it. With a page focused, Alt and the up or down arrow moves it too — a drag is not reachable with a keyboard.
- Rotate or delete the current page from the panel on the right. Undo reverses any of these, including several steps back.
- Press Download to build the edited document. The pages are written back out in the new order, with the rotations you applied.
What this editor does
- Reorder pages, by dragging a thumbnail or with the arrow buttons.
- Rotate individual pages a quarter turn at a time.
- Delete pages you do not need, with undo if you change your mind.
- Download the result as a new PDF, with the original left untouched on your device.
What it does not do
It does not edit the text already inside a PDF, and it does not pretend to. Placing new text over a page is a different operation from changing the text a document already contains — the underlying characters stay where they are either way — and describing one as the other would be the kind of claim that gets someone into trouble at exactly the wrong moment.
Merging, splitting, compressing and converting documents are also not here yet. They are listed as planned on the PDF Tools page rather than offered as buttons that do nothing.
Frequently asked questions
Does this edit the text in my PDF?
No. It changes the document structure — page order, page rotation and which pages exist. The text already on each page is left exactly as it was. If a page is upside down or in the wrong place, this fixes that; if a word is wrong, it will still be wrong afterwards.
Where is my document processed?
Entirely in your browser. The file is read, rendered and rewritten on your own device, so there is no upload, no queue and no copy on a server. It also means the editor keeps working if your connection drops after the page has loaded.
Will the download look exactly like the original?
The pages are copied from the original document without being re-rendered, so the content is preserved rather than reconstructed. What changes is only the order and the rotations you asked for.
Can I undo a mistake?
Yes. Undo and redo cover every structural change — reordering, rotating and deleting — and work several steps back. Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z work as well, as long as you are not typing in a field.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in anywhere in this section, and no feature behind one. Everything works on the first visit.
