About ToolDuck
ToolDuck is a collection of free online tools built to make everyday digital and development tasks faster and simpler.
From developer utilities and JSON tools to mock APIs, resume tools, image tools and PDF utilities, ToolDuck brings practical tools into one simple place.
Why ToolDuck
Free to use
Every tool is free, and none of them require an account.
Fast and simple
Open a page, drop in your input, take the result. That is the whole interaction.
Privacy-conscious
Where a tool can do its work in the browser, that is where it does it.
Browser-first where possible
Most tools process your input on your own device and never upload it.
For developers and everyday users
The same site covers a JSON diff, a resume, and resizing a photo for a form.
No unnecessary complexity
No sign-up walls, no daily caps, no features that exist only to pad a page.
Many of the tools are built to process information directly in the browser, so you do not have to upload sensitive data just to run a routine task. That is a deliberate design choice rather than an absolute guarantee: a few features genuinely need a server — the mock API, and the optional AI assistance in the resume tools — and in those cases the page tells you what is sent before you use it. Where a tool says your data stays on your device, it means exactly that.

Building ToolDuck
ToolDuck started with a simple idea: developers and everyday users often need small utilities for tasks that should take seconds, not require installing another application.
ToolDuck brings these utilities together in one place, with a focus on useful functionality, straightforward interfaces and fast browser-based tools. The developer tools cover JSON formatting and comparison, UUID generation, encoding and decoding, hashing and mock APIs. Beyond that there are resume tools for building and checking a CV, and image tools for compressing, resizing and converting pictures — with more being added over time.
What is available now
