AI assets

Plans are drawn, viewed in 3D and exported inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded unless you sign in and save a plan to your account, or ask for an AI-generated asset, in which case your description is sent to our own generation server.

Draw a floor plan room by room on a snapping grid, place doors, windows and furniture, and the dimensions and areas are worked out as you go. Switch to 3D and the same plan becomes a walk-through house with walls, openings, floors and furniture built from your measurements.

The 3D model is generated from the plan itself, not from an image, so a 12 × 12 ft bedroom is 12 × 12 ft in 3D and in the exported GLB. Drawing, the 3D view and every download work without an account; signing in adds saving to your account and optional AI-generated furniture and textures.

How to use this tool

  1. Start from a template or a blank plan. Pick a room from the Rooms panel and click on the grid to place it, then drag its corners to resize. Rooms snap to the grid and to each other.
  2. Add doors and windows from Elements — they snap onto the nearest wall. Add furniture from the Furniture panel and rotate it with the handle or the Properties panel.
  3. Select anything to edit its name, size, flooring and colours on the right. The Plan Summary shows the built-up area, carpet area and room count.
  4. Press 3D View to see the house. Orbit, switch to walkthrough or top view, show the roof or a wireframe, and click a wall or piece of furniture to change its material.
  5. Use Render for a lit, high-resolution image, and Download for the plan as PNG or a printable PDF with dimensions, or the 3D model as GLB.

What the measurements are — and are not

Dimensions and areas are computed from what you draw, to the precision of the grid. They are good for planning a layout, comparing options and talking to an architect or builder.

They are not an architectural drawing. Nothing here checks structure, building codes or local regulations, and a plan from this tool is not approved for construction. Have a qualified professional review any plan before building from it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Home Plan Creator free?

Yes. Every feature — the 2D editor, the 3D view, high-resolution rendering, PNG, PDF and GLB export and AI generation — is free. AI generation is limited to a few assets per account per day because it runs on real hardware.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed to draw, view in 3D or download. Your plan is kept in this browser as you work. Sign in to save plans to your account and open them on another device, and to use AI generation.

Is the 3D model to scale?

Yes. Walls, floors and openings are built from the plan's measurements in feet, so the GLB opens at real-world scale in Blender, SketchUp and other 3D tools.

Can I use the plan to build my house?

Not on its own. It is a planning tool: it does not check structure, codes or regulations. Use it to work out a layout, then have an architect or engineer produce construction drawings.

What happens if AI generation is unavailable?

Nothing else is affected. The editor, the 3D conversion, rendering and every export work without it — the AI only adds optional furniture models and textures.
