Two or more files. They are joined in the order shown below. PDF files up to 100 MB each.
Your PDF is opened, edited and saved inside your browser. The file is never uploaded to our server.
Merging is the most common thing anyone wants to do with a PDF, and it is usually an emergency: a signed page that has to go at the front, a scan that arrived in two halves, an appendix that belongs at the back.
Add the files, put them in the order you want with the arrows, and press Merge. The pages are copied out of each document rather than re-rendered, so nothing is recompressed and nothing loses quality — a merge cannot make your PDF look worse than it did.
How to use this tool
- Drop two or more PDFs onto the drop zone, or choose them from your device. They appear in a list with their page counts.
- Use the up and down arrows to set the order. Documents are joined top to bottom, and each one keeps its own pages in their existing order.
- Remove anything you added by mistake with the ✕ beside it. Adding more files with Add more files appends them to the end of the list.
- Press Merge PDFs. One document comes back containing every page from every file.
Frequently asked questions
Does merging reduce the quality of my PDFs?
No. Each page is copied across as it is, not re-rendered or recompressed. A page that was a 300 dpi scan is still the same 300 dpi scan in the merged file.
Can I merge files with different page sizes?
Yes. A mix of A4, Letter and landscape pages is fine — each page keeps its own size, so the result has pages of different sizes, exactly as the originals did.
Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
Each file can be up to 100 MB. There is no fixed cap on the number of files; the practical limit is your device's memory, because all the work happens in your browser.
Are my documents uploaded to your server?
No. The files are read and written on your own device. There is no upload step, which is also why merging finishes instantly instead of sitting in a queue.
