Keyword Details
Rankings are queried directly via the official Google Search Console API for your verified properties. Credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM on our server, and we never scrape Google SERPs or share your data.
ToolDuck SEO Rank Checker provides accurate Google search rankings and keyword positions directly from your verified Google Search Console properties. Unlike third-party SERP scrapers that violate Google guidelines or show inaccurate temporary rankings, this tool uses Google's official Search Analytics API.
Rankings are based on Google Search Console's average position data for your website across your selected date range. Check single keywords or multi-line batches of up to 100 keywords simultaneously, track position changes compared to prior periods, and inspect clicks, impressions, CTR, and top ranking URLs.
How to use this tool
- Connect your Google Search Console account by clicking "Connect Google Search Console". Authorize read-only access to view your search analytics.
- Select your verified Search Console property (domain property or URL-prefix) from the dropdown list.
- Choose your target date range (such as Last 28 Days), country filter (e.g. India or Worldwide), device filter (Desktop, Mobile, Tablet), and search type.
- Paste your list of keywords (one per line, up to 100 keywords per batch) into the editor.
- Click "Check Google Rankings". The tool processes your keywords through a bounded parallel queue and generates your rankings, change indicators, clicks, impressions, CTR, and primary landing pages.
Frequently asked questions
Does this tool scrape Google search result pages (SERPs)?
No. ToolDuck SEO Rank Checker strictly uses Google's official Search Console Search Analytics API (webmasters.readonly). It does not scrape Google SERP pages, bypass CAPTCHAs, use browser automation, or rely on unofficial scraping APIs.
Why does it say rankings are based on Search Console average positions?
Google search results are personalized by geography, search history, language, and device. Google Search Console provides the true aggregate average position calculated across actual search impressions from real users who saw your site in Google search results.
Can I check rankings specifically for India or other countries?
Yes. You can filter ranking data specifically for India (ISO alpha-3 "ind"), the United States ("usa"), the United Kingdom ("gbr"), Canada, Australia, and over 25 other countries, or view Worldwide combined performance.
Are my Google Search Console credentials and tokens secure?
Yes. Google OAuth 2.0 PKCE authentication is handled entirely server-side. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted using AES-256-GCM authenticated cipher before storage and are never exposed to JavaScript, browser dev tools, or server logs. You can disconnect your account at any time with a single click.
How are keyword position changes calculated?
The tool queries both your selected date window (e.g. the last 28 days) and the immediately preceding period of identical length (e.g. prior 28 days). The change is calculated as the previous average position minus the current average position. An improvement from position 12.0 to 8.0 is shown as +4.0 positions.
Can I export the ranking results?
Yes. You can export your full keyword rank results, position deltas, clicks, impressions, CTR, and landing URLs to a CSV file or copy a formatted markdown summary to your clipboard.
