Template preview
Your app screenshots are read, composed and exported inside your browser. They are never uploaded to our server, and your project is saved on your own device.
The library is the part of this product worth judging, so the previews here are not pictures of templates. They are rendered by the same engine the editor and the export use, on the same canvas, from the same definitions — which means a template cannot look one way in the gallery and arrive looking another way in the editor.
Every one is free. There is no premium section, no locked layout, no watermark on the preview and no export limit on the result.
How to use this tool
- Search by name or by what you are making — “finance”, “dark”, “gradient”, “games” all work, because the templates carry keywords describing what they suit.
- Narrow the list with the filters. Style and category are the useful ones on a first visit; platform, device and orientation are there when you already know your target.
- Press Preview on any card to see the whole screenshot sequence at size, and step through it before committing.
- Follow a template's name to read its page, or press Use template to open the editor with that design already applied.
- Every filter is written into the URL, so a filtered view can be bookmarked, shared or sent to a colleague.
Why every template is free
Screenshot templates are a solved problem dressed up as a premium one. The layout principles are not secret, the device frames are simple geometry, and the sizes are published by the stores themselves. Charging per template for that is a business model, not an engineering constraint.
So the whole library is open, and the honest differentiator is that the previews are real. If a template is not good enough to become the reason you use this over a general design tool, it should not be in the library.
What gets into the library
- A caption that is readable at store-thumbnail size, not just at full size.
- One clear focal point, and enough whitespace for it to read as deliberate.
- A colour pairing with adequate contrast — no light grey type on a mid-tone gradient.
- A screenshot that is prominent rather than decorative: it should occupy a meaningful share of the canvas.
- A composition that survives being rendered at 4:3 for an iPad as well as 19.5:9 for an iPhone.
Frequently asked questions
Are any templates paid or locked?
No. There is no premium tier, no PRO badge, no locked layout and no watermark. Every template in the library is available to everyone, on every device, with no account.
Is the preview the actual template?
Yes. The gallery previews are rendered by the same engine the editor and the export use, from the same template definition. What you see on a card is what the template produces, not an illustration of something similar.
How many templates are there?
Thirty-one at launch, across twelve categories and eleven styles. That is deliberate: a smaller library where every entry is usable beats a large one padded with variations, and the number only grows when a template earns its place.
Can I use one template for iPhone and Android?
Yes. Every template renders for iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Android tablet, and adapts to each canvas rather than being resized. The device frames keep their own real proportions.
Can I make my own template?
Not through the interface yet. Templates are structured configuration, so adding one is a data change rather than a design task, and it is done in the project rather than by users.
